The parking lot isn't really a parking lot, it's more like a gravel pullover on the side of the road. So be on the lookout for a gravel pullover! If you reach a campground you've gone to far! The trail to the tower is a little under a mile and is pretty steep all the way up. But the views are so worth it!

What a view! The trail is rocky and steep so wear some good shoes. Tower room is inaccessible but you can chill at the top of the stairs.
