Beautiful
Really enjoyed this walk. Easy hike, awesome panoramic views from the top, and nicely defined trail. It's a heavily traveled trail and area, but a great place nevertheless. Easy parking, great camping and backpacking all the way through on the trail. Outhouse bathrooms about 1.5 miles down the road.
Loved this hike up to Black Balsam Knob. This is a moderate hike with great views, some climbing involved. There are no facilities here, but there is a decent amount of parking. Far less crowded than other nearby hikes.
Plenty of parking with two different lots. Easy access to Black Balsam Knob, Art Loeb Trail, and the MTS trail.
